Walt’s Story

The story behind Walt’s pretzels began back in the 1950s.  Walt and his father drove the back roads of the southwest selling turquoise from their mine in central Nevada to local artists that transformed the stones into beautiful jewelry.  While on those long road trips an open bag of Walt’s favorite pretzel snacks could always be found.

Over the years Walt also developed a passion for fishing.  Trout and bass fishing progressed to deep sea fishing and he participated in several international tournaments over the years.  Walt could always be found reeling in the big one wearing his lucky hat and a bag of pretzels by his side.

While Walt had a love for the basic pretzel, over time he desired something with a little more flavor.  Soon he began making his own version of gourmet pretzels which he shared with family and friends.  Today we hand craft each batch of flavored pretzels using only Extra Virgin Olive Oil and seasonings to create this next level pretzel.

Walt’s passion for good times and great snacks inspired us to create these tasty treats in his honor.  Enjoy these pretzels in any setting and always remember…One Nibble and You’re Hooked
